They do sell out earlier in the day, so if you are an afternoon person, choices will be slim. That's how I started, with two options. But am learning to stop in before noon.
Batista very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Ambiance very peaceful, gives off a feeling of 'sit and stay/visit awhile'. Tall tables and couch with over stuffed chair with tables and fire place.
The pastries are wonderful, coffee the same. I love coming by. A wonderful place that does not get the business it should. I enjoy the croissants, the almond croissants and love to look at all the other treats. In Mountlake Terrace the Grand Perez is where I want to be.
Service was good, the lady working the counter was nice and had a great conversation with my 5 year old, it was clean with plenty of seating, parking was ample. I have only been the one time but I literally had a dream about the almond croissants and have been craving to go back and get them again. The cinnamon sticks are awesome too.
I haven't tried their coffee or sandwiches yet, just their pastries. But as for pastries I really enjoy stopping in. And their staff is always polite and patient thru my dialog of "Which pastry today?"
I try something new each time and like most their stuff. I'm pretty picky, so it's nice to know I'll usually like what I try. It gives me the freedom to spend without worrying about waste. And what I don't finish, my best friend does! Bonus that we both like this place.
Who'da thunk you could find such decadently, delicious pastries in Mountlake Terrace? Try the creme brulee croissant. Delicious! I'll be back.
