I've always had a bad experience with moving, and was pleasantly surprised that the Bekins experience was not like this! This was an interstate move, and from the movers at origin/destination, to the driver, to the coordinator - it was professional, friendly, helpful, efficient, and cheerful from start to end! I am both impressed and thankful to the Bekins team, and to John Gish for being so available and responsive!
Bekins' crew arrived exactly on time and ready to work. The two men were clean-cut, uniformed, and courteous. They worked efficiently but carefully to move my furniture, boxes of many sizes, and odd crates, and containers without damage to the goods or to my house. They reinforced taping and used shrink-wrap and moving blankets liberally. The crew arrived at my new place before I did, and quickly unloaded without damage. We proceeded to a small storage unit I'd rented where they masterfully fit in all the remaining stuff. They stayed in good humor throughout the long day. Bravo!
We enjoyed having Bekins! A crew of 3 arrived and wrapped and loaded our furniture. They did a good job of inventorying, labeling and inspecting the items. We had a 100 year old parlor grand piano that we were giving away to a new home (it was within a mile of our house), so they loaded it last. They had to take it apart, wrap it, load it (not easy with a cast iron sounding board!), deliver it, get it up 5 steps, and reassemble it. They were wonderful!
Very impressed with all aspects of our move. We had Bekins pack our more fragile items and everything in the kitchen and they did a great job. The teams that loaded everything into and out of the moving van were polite, quick, careful with all of our items and well organized. I was particularly impressed with the skill and care they demonstrated in moving our heavier items, especially those that were upstairs. Everything was account for and there was absolutely no damage to anything. Excellent performance on both ends of our move.
Team of 6 guys and two trucks moved our household in less than 9 hours start to finish. We experienced minimal damage considering the volume of boxes and the number of stairs these guys climbed that day. The whole move done with courtesy professionalism and a smile. We definitely will recommend this team to others.
