Great for family fun! Playground is very accessible and appeals to adults and children alike.
Has one covered picnic area. Provides one port-a-potty. There is a walking path and has a disc golf course.
The park seems big and lovely with frisbee golf and trails. The playground could use an upgrade though. There seems to be a big drop in the level of gravelly sand beneath the structures. The drop from the ends of the slides are obvious and potentially dangerous for little ones. There is evidence of play structures that have been dismantled. I’d like to see them invest money in an upgrade, plant some shade trees around the playground, picnic, car park area.
This park has it all. Amazing playground, covered picnic area, Frisbee golf, geocahes, dog park, and great nature trails!
I came for the first time here to play disc and I was enjoying my time, thank goodness I was across the field when I saw this car and an entire family comes down, one kid in a stroller a lady, 2 men and another child. Next thing I know my boyfriend sees them next to my car, at the beginning I was like oh I just saw them they are probably walking but we see the 2 guys trying to open my window with a slim Jim and he goes running towards my car and then they try to play it cool by 2 guys walking one direction and the lady with two kids walking the other, seriously ? Could you be more obvious. BE CAREFUL GOING HERE AND PLAYING DISC AND GOING FAR IN WHERE YOU CANNOT SEE YOUR CAR!!
Beautiful trail about 1.5 miles long. Good for on leash dog walking and mostly flat. Playground and grass area for kids and picnics. Disk golf course.
